Multifamily &
Missing Middle
Housing Dallas.
Duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes, and up to 8-unit projects under Dallas’s updated residential code. Full design, structural engineering, permits, and construction across Dallas and the DFW metroplex.
The housing type Dallas has been missing
Missing middle housing refers to the range of residential building types between single-family homes and large apartment buildings — duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes, townhomes, and small apartment buildings of 5–8 units.
These building types were historically common in Dallas’s older urban neighborhoods but largely disappeared from new construction for decades due to zoning restrictions. They provide more housing at a human scale — compatible with residential neighborhoods but significantly more efficient land use than single-family detached homes.
Design and permits only? Many developers use UTES for multifamily design, engineering drawings, and permit packages only — then proceed with their own general contractor. No construction contract required.

200+ multifamily projects. More experience than anyone else in Dallas.

That depth of experience matters when structural complexity, zoning approvals, and permit timelines are all working against your ROI.
